We can make your saddle in the combination you like. Our pricing is off a Base Price saddle that is complete smooth out. From that we add what you want based on time and materials. We will be glad to work with you from your choices.

I spend between two and three hours cutting and trying to make sure there are no hot spots or places that will sore you. If we know your special needs, we can put those in for you. This is the part of the saddle that has to be perfect or your saddle will not have that comfort we strive to put in all our saddles. You should feel as good when you get off your horse at the end of the day as when you get on.

The outer shell of the saddle is made custom for each individual and their personal preference. We make the changes you need for the job you are doing or the look you want. All the saddles on this web site are ones made for someone. You can choose the whole look of one saddle or take parts from many saddles and combine to get the look you want.
This is the tree design I am most known for.

You can see the curvature of the ground seat. It is all hand carved.
The rig is our standard flat plate rig. This is our most popular all around ranch saddle.

For years our trees have been made of wood and rawhide, but we have added a new line using the exact styles as before. We started working with wood-covered with Kevlar and fiberglass in our Bronc Saddles because they are put through extra abuse and have proven very durable. We, now have that in our Stock Saddles. Kevlar is the same product used in bullet proof vests.

Wood tree is designed so all parts fit tight for full strength

Trees are put together in a jig for accuracy and uniformity

Tree is wrapped in Kevlar, then fiberglass and then one clear coat of resin.

Our standard tree has a 6-1/4" wide gullet and is 8-1/2"high with a 3-1/2" Post dally Horn. The bars are modified Quarter-Horse Arizona Bars. The rig on these saddles are a little fuller than a 7/8 and fit the largest variety of horses, in the largest variety of terrains, in and out of the arena.

We use only the very best American Leathers and Hardware and Natural Sheep Skin. All our saddles are finished with olive oil. I hand cut and fit the ground seat which gives you a better, long lasting more comfortable ride. To insure quality, I do all the assembly myself, although have help stamping and assembling parts. Our shop is small and efficient.

You also have a choice of stirrup leather buckles. We use the Fast Buckles our standard buckle now, because of the past problem with Blevins Buckle pins coming out. We still offer the Blevins Buckle for customers who prefer them.

I have watched many years as steer wrestlers got down for that quick jump, steer sets up, his hands work, but his body was out of position, letting the inside horn past. When sliding out of the saddle your butt catches the point on the cantle, making you lift just a fraction and ahead to clear it. It is just enough to put you that split second late and your body rotates when reaching back thus keeping your body wide of the steer, loosing the inside horn.
